KTP Crystal (KTiOPO₄) – Potassium Titanyl Phosphate Nonlinear Optical Crystal

KTP (Potassium Titanyl Phosphate, KTiOPO₄) is a widely used nonlinear optical crystal known for its high nonlinear coefficient, good optical transparency, excellent mechanical stability, and efficient frequency conversion performance.

KTP crystals are commonly used for second-harmonic generation (SHG), especially for converting 1064 nm infrared laser light to 532 nm green light. They are also suitable for optical parametric oscillation, sum- and difference-frequency generation, electro-optic applications, and other nonlinear optical systems.

Compared with many other nonlinear optical crystals, KTP offers a useful combination of high conversion efficiency, relatively high damage threshold, and good environmental stability. It is also non-hygroscopic, making it easier to handle and integrate into optical systems.

AMO Scientific can provide KTP crystals in standard and customized dimensions, orientations, coatings, and surface specifications for research, laser, photonics, and OEM applications.
