AMO Scientific 6 Inch / 150 mm Single Wafer Carrier Case is designed for safe storage, handling, and transportation of 6-inch semiconductor wafers, sapphire wafers, silicon wafers, glass wafers, and other delicate circular substrates. Made from polypropylene and suitable for cleanroom applications, this single-wafer carrier helps protect wafers from scratches, edge damage, particles, and contamination during shipping, inspection, coating, testing, and laboratory storage.
The carrier features a conical edge-support base that minimizes contact with the wafer surface. A spider spring and locking lid securely hold the wafer in place while reducing pressure on the wafer surface.
It is commonly used for:
- Protecting a sample wafer during shipping or storage
- Carrying high-value or fragile wafers
- Sending wafers for inspection, testing, coating, or analysis
